About SMS Verification

CROM Web uses SMS verification to enhance account security.

• SMS verification is required during initial registration
• A verification code will be sent to your mobile phone number
• The verification code is valid for 10 minutes
• If verification fails, please request a new verification code

About Account Registration (Email Address Registration)

The CROM app assigns a User ID when you start using the app, so you can use it without registering an email address.

However, if you have not registered an email address, you will not be able to transfer your data when changing devices. Additionally, if you log in with another account's email address without having registered your own email address, you will no longer be able to log back into your original account. In this case, we cannot guarantee your purchased manga, Coins, or Gems.

By registering an email address, you can carry over the following features when changing devices:

• Content purchase and reading history
• Coin balance
• Bonus Coin balance
• Gem balance
• Favorites
• Icon, nickname, and bio
• Following and followers
• Comments, Highlights, and other posted content

Email registration takes just a few minutes and is free of charge.

Friend Referral Campaign

• The campaign is not displayed outside the campaign period, and referrals submitted outside the period are invalid.
• The referral code must be entered within 24 hours of installing the app.
• SMS verification (phone number verification) is required.
• Each phone number can receive referral rewards only once.
• Once the referral code is entered and SMS verification is completed, Gems are awarded to the invited user.
• Rewards for the referring user will be distributed starting from the following day.
• Once entered, a referral code cannot be changed.

If you do not receive the SMS, please try resending it in an area with good signal reception.

AI responses, suggestions, and information included in this service are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or useful.

You are responsible for any decisions or use of the information provided by AI. We are not liable for any damages arising from AI responses.

About CROM

About the Follow Feature

By following other users, you can view their posts and activity.

• Posts from users you follow will appear in your timeline
• There is no limit on the number of users you can follow or followers you can have
• Mutual following is not required

About Posting Comments

You can post comments on titles and other users' posts.

• Comments can be up to 200 characters long
• Inappropriate comments may be removed by the moderation team

About Posting Highlights

You can share your favorite scenes and panels with other users as Highlights.

• Scene Highlights can include up to 10 pages. Highlights cannot span across different volumes or episodes
• Highlights of scenes from paid volumes or episodes are only viewable by users who have purchased them
• Episodes available via free Tickets are only viewable by users who have access
• Panel Captures are supported for some titles but not all. For supported titles, a Capture icon will appear in the viewer when posting
• Panel Captures from episodes that require free Tickets or from paid volumes/episodes are viewable by all users
• Posting consecutive panels to intentionally make paid content readable for free is prohibited. Such posts may be removed by the moderation team. Posting privileges may also be restricted. Please refer to the Posting Guidelines for details

About User Icons

You can set your user icon from the profile page.

• Supported file formats: JPEG, PNG
• File size: Up to 2MB
• Inappropriate images may be removed by the moderation team. Please refer to the Posting Guidelines for details

About Your Bio

You can set your bio on the profile page.

• Up to 140 characters can be entered
• Including personal information is prohibited. Content deemed inappropriate by the moderation team may be removed. Please refer to the Posting Guidelines for details
• You can edit or change your bio at any time

Switching Reading Mode

You can freely switch between vertical and horizontal reading in the content viewer.

• While reading manga, tap the screen to display the header and footer. You can switch reading mode by tapping the arrow icon at the bottom left of the footer
• Your reading mode setting is preserved even after closing the viewer
• Some titles only support vertical reading. In that case, you cannot switch to horizontal reading

About Free Tickets

Some titles distributed as episodes can be read using free Tickets.

• Eligible titles display a Ticket icon
• The distribution schedule, recovery time after use, and maximum number of Tickets you can hold vary by title. Please tap the ? icon on the title detail page for more information
• Content read using free Tickets has a viewing expiration period
• When reading manga in the viewer, if the next episode is available with a free Ticket, the Ticket is automatically consumed

About Content Viewing Expiration

Content purchased with Coins has no viewing expiration. You can read it anytime, as many times as you like.

• However, if a title is removed from distribution, it may become unavailable for viewing.
• If distribution ends due to rights holder circumstances, Coins will not be refunded.
• When you delete your account, your purchase history is also deleted and content will become inaccessible.

Content read using free Tickets has a viewing expiration. Please check the expiration displayed in the list after consuming a Ticket.

Checking Purchase History

Your purchased content is displayed in the Purchased tab on My Page.

• Tap a title from the Purchased tab to open the title page. Purchased volumes or episodes will show "Purchased" in the list

About Favorites

You can add titles to your Favorites for easy access later. You can also enjoy Highlights about your favorite titles on the Highlights tab.

• Tap the Favorites icon on the title page to add it.
• View your list at My Page > Favorites
• There is no limit on the number of Favorites

About Coins

Coins are a paid currency used to purchase content.

• 1 Coin = approximately 1 yen
• Available for use immediately after purchase
• Coins do not expire, but will be deleted if the service is not used for 1 year.

About Bonus Coins

Bonus Coins are free Coins that you can obtain by exchanging Gems.

• Can be used in the same way as regular Coins when purchasing content
• Valid for 180 days from the date of acquisition
• Bonus Coins are consumed before regular Coins
• They may also be obtained through special campaigns. In such cases, the expiration date is shown at the time of acquisition.

Coin Expiration

Purchased Coins do not have an expiration date.

• Purchased Coins do not expire, but will be deleted if the service is not used for more than 1 year.
• If Coins are deleted due to more than 1 year of inactivity, no prior notification will be given.

Bonus Coin Expiration

Bonus Coins have a set expiration date.

• Generally valid for 180 days from the date of acquisition
• Expiration may vary depending on campaigns
• Expiration dates can be checked from the Bonus Coins section on the Coins page

Coin Usage History

You can view detailed Coin purchase and usage history.

• Go to My Page > tap "Coins" in the header > tap "Purchased Coins" or "Bonus Coins" to view
• Purchase date, usage date, and balance are displayed
• History is stored for up to 1 year

Coin Consumption Order

There is a set order for Coin consumption when purchasing content.

• 1. Bonus Coins are consumed first, then regular Coins
• 2. Bonus Coins with the earliest expiration are consumed first
• The consumption order cannot be changed

About Gems

Gems are CROM's unique points system that you earn through using the service.

• Earn them by browsing the Highlights timeline and collecting from the counter, as a bonus when purchasing manga, or by receiving likes
• Gems can be exchanged for Bonus Coins or digital gifts

Gem Expiration

Gems do not have an expiration date. However, they will be deleted in the following cases:

• If there is no change in your Gem balance for 1 year
• If it is determined that Gems were obtained fraudulently

About Gem Value

About the exchange rate between Gems and Coins:

• The value of 1 Gem is subject to change at any time.
• No guarantee of value is provided.
• Exchange rates for Bonus Coins and digital gifts also fluctuate based on the value of 1 Gem
• The displayed Gem value and its price history are for reference only. They do not represent an exact value.

About Purchasing Gems

Gems cannot be purchased directly.

• They can be earned by using the service. Please check "Earn Gems" on My Page for details on how to earn them.
• Special campaigns may offer additional ways to earn Gems in the future

Earning Gems from the Highlights Timeline

You can also earn Gems through activity on the Highlights timeline:

• Browsing the Highlights timeline counts up a counter, and you can earn Gems based on the count.
• Up to 5 slots can be stored, but this may be changed without prior notice.
• The amount of Gems earned per slot varies depending on the Gem value.
• No compensation will be provided if earning Gems fails, such as when watching an ad to earn Gems.

Earning Gems from Likes

You have a chance to earn Gems by collecting likes on your posts:

• Likes on Highlight posts, comments, and replies are eligible
• The amount of Gems earned per like is not fixed and changes daily
• A portion of the service's revenue is redistributed, so the amount of Gems earned varies depending on revenue and the volume of likes

Gem Bonus from Manga Purchases

You can earn Gems based on the amount when you purchase manga:

• You receive the bonus amount of Gems shown at the time of purchase.
• The amount of Gems earned varies depending on the Gem value.
• Gems are credited immediately after purchase.
• Gems can also be earned from purchases made with Bonus Coins.

How to Exchange Gems

You can exchange Gems for Coins:

• Exchange rate: Varies depending on the Gem value.
• Fees are included in the exchange for Bonus Coins and digital gifts.

About Gem Forfeiture

Cases where Gems may be forfeited:

• If there is no change in your Gem balance for 1 year
• When your account is deleted
• When terms of service are violated (e.g., fraudulent acquisition)

About Your User ID

How to find your User ID, which is needed when contacting support:

• Go to My Page > tap your icon image > tap the person icon in the upper right
• The User ID shown on the account information screen is your User ID.
• Please copy and include this ID when contacting support

About Account Changes

The following account information can be changed:

• Nickname
• Email address
• Password
• Profile information
• User ID cannot be changed

About Email Registration

By registering an email address, you can use the following features:

• Data transfer when changing devices
• If you accidentally delete your account or log out without registering an email address, we cannot guarantee your Coins, Gems, purchase history, or other data.

We strongly recommend registering an email address to prevent loss of your data.

Logging in with Multiple Accounts

When logging in with a different account:

• Log out of your current account. *If you need your previous account, be sure to register an email address before logging out.
• Enter the email address and password of the other account on the login screen
• Data cannot be transferred between accounts

About Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account:

• Select "Delete Account" from the Settings screen
• All purchased content, Gems, and Coins will be permanently lost
• Data from a deleted account cannot be recovered

Please make sure you are deleting the correct account before proceeding.

About the Gift Feature

The Gift feature allows you to send manga as a gift to other users.

• You can use Coins to gift manga to other users
• When you send a gift, you earn Gems when the recipient accepts it
• Manga received as gifts can be read indefinitely, just like purchased content

About the Wishlist

The Wishlist is a list where you can register titles you would like to receive as gifts from other users.

• Your Wishlist is visible to other users
• Other users can view your Wishlist and send you gifts
• Gifts sent from your Wishlist are automatically received

Gift Acceptance Deadline

Gifts have an acceptance deadline.

• The gift acceptance deadline is 3 days
• If the gift is not accepted within 3 days, it will expire
• When a gift expires, the Coins are returned to the sender
• Gifts sent from the Wishlist are automatically received, so there is no risk of expiration

Coin Refund for Unaccepted Gifts

If the recipient does not accept the gift:

• After the acceptance deadline (3 days), the gift will automatically expire
• When a gift expires, the full amount of Coins used will be returned to the sender
• When a gift expires, Gems will not be awarded to the sender

Earning Gems from Gifts

You can earn Gems by sending gifts:

• Gems are awarded when the gift recipient accepts the gift
• Gifts via the Wishlist are automatically accepted, so Gems are awarded immediately
• If the recipient does not accept the gift and it expires, Gems will not be awarded

Auto-Receive from Wishlist

How gifts sent via the Wishlist work:

• When a title registered on your Wishlist is gifted to you, it is automatically received
• No action is needed to accept it
• Because it is auto-received, there is no risk of gift expiration or Coin refund
• The sender receives Gems immediately after the gift is completed

About Character Chat

Character Chat is an entertainment feature that uses AI (artificial intelligence) technology to provide a conversational experience with characters from manga titles.

• You can enjoy chatting with characters from manga titles in a chat format
• Character responses are automatically generated by AI
• Individual responses are not created or approved by the author or publisher

About Response Accuracy

Due to the nature of AI technology, character responses may differ from the original work.

• Responses may include dialogue or expressions that do not exist in the original work
• Content that contradicts the original work's settings may be generated
• Slight deviations in the character's personality or manner of speech may occur
• Factual information (history, science, law, etc.) in responses may be inaccurate

Please do not treat character statements as factual information or use them as a basis for decision-making.

About Pricing

Using Character Chat may require Coins.

• A certain number of free messages are available for first-time use
• After the free messages are used up, Coins are consumed per message
• The Coin cost is displayed at the top of the Character Chat screen
• If you do not have enough Coins, please purchase Coins to continue

Handling of Conversation Data

About Character Chat conversation data:

• Conversation history is saved on the server and you can continue from where you left off on your next visit
• Conversation content may be recorded and analyzed for the purpose of maintaining and improving service quality
• Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties in an identifiable form, except as required by law
• Chat history can be deleted from the message screen

About Usage Rules

Please follow these rules to ensure a comfortable Character Chat experience.

• Entering content that promotes illegal activities is prohibited
• Please refrain from entering content that defames others
• Intentionally eliciting sexual, violent, or discriminatory content is prohibited
• Altering character responses and spreading them as official statements is prohibited
• Commercial use of information obtained through this feature is prohibited
• Users under 18 should use this feature with parental consent

If a rule violation is confirmed, usage restrictions or account actions may be taken.

About Screenshots

About taking screenshots of character responses:

• Taking and sharing screenshots for personal use is permitted
• Commercial use, redistribution, or database creation is prohibited
• Please refrain from sharing character responses in a way that could be mistaken for official statements

About Discontinued Titles

Cases where a title may be discontinued:

• Discontinuation at the request of the copyright holder
• Discontinuation due to contract expiration
• Temporary suspension due to technical issues
• Discontinuation due to legal issues

Previously purchased titles will generally remain accessible, with some exceptions. Advance notice will be provided when titles are discontinued.
