Synopsis
Forty-two years old, a single father. He divorced when his son was five, and could only see him once a month. Each visit, he played the role of "good father," never once engaging in real parenting before dying from overwork. The only connection he had with his son was a game they played together.
When he opens his eyes, he has become a duke in that very game. His wife is already dead. And before him stands his five-year-old son—Leonhart Ashford. The boy who, twenty years from now, will become this world's final boss.
He has no intention of saving the world. He simply thought: if I raise this child normally, won't he avoid becoming the Demon Lord?
When he puts him down for naps, magical power outbursts decrease. When he pays the servants proper wages, betrayal events disappear. When he treats his daughter, the entire second chapter vanishes. When he builds a school, the orphans who were supposed to become Demon Lord Army executives end up getting regular jobs instead.
With each act of parenting, the original story crumbles.
And gradually, he begins to understand: the events he's crushed haven't disappeared. They're reappearing elsewhere, in different forms.

I Reincarnated as the Last Boss's Father, So I Decided Not to Let My Son Become the Demon Lord
(Duke Ashford)
Forty-two years old, a single father. I divorced when my son was five, and could only see him once a month. I died from overwork without ever having done real child-rearing even once. When I opened my eyes, I had become a duke in a game my son and I used to play together. My wife is already dead. And before my eyes is my five-year-old son. A boy who will become this world's last boss twenty years from now. I have no intention of saving the world. I just thought this—if I raise this child normally, won't he avoid becoming the Demon Lord? When I let him take naps, his magical power rampages decrease. When I pay salaries, betrayals disappear. When I treat his younger sister, Chapter Two vanishes. When I build a school, the orphans who were supposed to become Demon Lord Army executives get normal jobs instead. Every time I do child-rearing, the original story breaks down. And then I realize. The events I crushed haven't disappeared. They're appearing in different places, in different forms. Chapters One and Two, all 10 episodes. A story that branches based on choices.
