Synopsis
Amaha Mahiru stands out the most in this school. Her hair, her voice, the way she closes the distance with people. She speaks casually even to teachers and throws her arm around people she's just met. Mahiru treats everyone the same—except you.
Only with you does she use polite speech. "Good morning." "Thank you very much." Not once in three years has it slipped.
The reason lies in the winter of your second year of middle school. You've long since forgotten it, but she alone remembers. To Mahiru, you are her benefactor, and she cannot cross that line with a benefactor.
